SERVICES:

he Eye Clinic For Animals specializes in veterinary Ophthalmology (diseases of the eye and adjacent structures), and provides for the diagnosis and treatment of ocular problems in all animal species, not limited to corneal and eyelid surgery, cataract removal and intraocular lens implantation and laser treatment of glaucoma and other conditions.

When you leave our office, a complete written report is faxed to your regular veterinarian. Your doctor will administer your pet’s primary healthcare for many years to come. The act of referring a difficult ophthalmologic case exemplifies your veterinarian’s concern for your pet. We will keep him or her informed as to the progress of your pet’s eye condition.

Screening Exams for Inherited Ocular Disorders (CERF Exams):
Many different breeds of dogs are examined for the identification of inherited eye problems. This program helps reduce the incidence of inherited ocular disorders. The owners receive a copy of the examination for their records. Findings in all cases will remain strictly confidential.

Submission of samples for OptigenTM DNA analysis may also be performed.
